Diane is a retired podiatrist who understands the detrimental effects of poor shoe size and wearing the wrong shoe for your foot. Her goal is to help people find the right fit and shoe for their foot so they can have less pain and stay active.
Peter Holdaway
Peter is working at the store and is a retired podiatrist. His passion is to help athletes and active people find the solution to their foot gear needs so they can stay active with less pain.
Dee
Dee has been fitting people with shoes for about 20 years. She enjoys people and the challenge of getting each person the right fit.

James Shoes is owned by Diane Holdaway, a retired podiatrist, with 20 years of service to the medical community. She utilizes her knowledge of the foot and ankle to help fit you with the best shoe for your foot and the right fit for your sole. We measure all of our customers to ensure that they are in the appropriate sized shoe. Diane believes that investing in the correct, well fitted, shoe or sneaker for your feet can help you stay active and help you live a healthy lifestyle.
Diane’s husband, Peter, a retired podiatrist, works at the store as well. He is an avid runner and will be happy to help you choose the best sneaker to keep you running for many miles. James shoes has a variety of running and trail shoes to help keep you moving on happy feet.
James Shoes is in the process of transitioning to a sneaker only retail outlet. This is in line with our goal of providing functional foot gear that may help people with various types of discomfort which may be secondary to improper shoe choice, poor shoe fit or the need for an arch support. Some of these conditions include foot pain, hip, back and knee pain. Our hope is, that if we can help you can find the right foundation (sneaker) for your feet, you will be able to stay more active, have less pain and live a healthier life. We will continue to carry children’s sneakers as it is vital for their growing feet to be in a quality shoe. We will also continue to carry our orthopedic brands to help those with significant deformities of their feet. We will continue to offer both over the counter inserts and custom inserts.
